Drax
Drax is a 6-7 year old, 70lb guy with a giant personality to match that big head of his. He's listed as an American Cattle Dog mix but looks more American bully.
Everyone that meets Drax falls in love with him. He's the goofiest boy you'll meet and wants as much love as possible. He loves people and will try to crawl into your lap. He's a dominant dog, so a home with no other dogs would be best for him. He prefers to spend his time with his people and is not a huge fan of a crate. Training could help him with this.
No small kids due to his large size. He's a bit of a bulldozer with all the love he has to give!

Paxton
Paxton is an approximately 3 year old, lab mix (best guess), 40lb boy rescued from the euthanasia list in Houston, TX.
Paxton has been working so hard to become a family dog, but his struggles continue. When he was first rescued a couple years ago, feral was the only way to describe him. He avoided any and all contact with humans, trying to make himself as small as possible to protect himself. He has been working very hard and has made so much progress. He willingly takes treats, hesitantly allows himself to be leashed, and will approach out of curiosity.
Paxton recently moved into his very first foster home after residing in boarding and with trainers. He is learning how to live in a home and become a family dog. The best home for Paxton is a quiet home with no children. He absolutely needs another confident dog in the home so he can learn how to be loved by people. A younger playful dog would be best. Paxton loves to run around and romp with his friends. A secure fenced in yard would be wonderful to allow him to play as he works on his leash walking skills. He LOVES treats and they are the way to his heart.

Diamond
Diamond is a lively, lovable cuddle bug who sparkles as brightly as her name! She is a shepherd mix, approximately 2-3 years old and 45lbs.
With her boundless puppy energy and warm, friendly nature, she’s a true social butterfly, spreading joy wherever she goes. Whether she’s zooming around the yard, tossing toys in the air, or charming every dog she meets (she has quite a few “boyfriends”!), Diamond is all about making new friends and having fun.
This clever girl is super food- and toy-motivated, which makes training both easy and rewarding. She’s learned to mind her teeth, but she can be a bit mouthy in her excitement—though she’s improving every day! Diamond is a power chewer, so she’d love a stash of sturdy toys to keep her entertained.
Diamond does have a bit of an adventurous side and can be an escape artist, darting through open doors if she sees a chance to explore. But with regular outdoor time and plenty of mental stimulation, she’s less inclined to make a run for it.
Her sparkling dark eyes and soft, shiny coat make her a real gem, and she’ll sit and beam at you until you give her a pet or two! -
Fredrick
This is one special guy. He was originally thought to be an 8-9 year old boy, but after getting some TLC and some new vet opinions, we think he is a bit younger. He was found as a stray in Houston and his condition when we first saved him, led to the idea he was a senior by the original shelter that aged him. This is the reality of life on the streets for a dog. . He ended up on the euthanasia list due to space and we luckily were able to save him in the nick of time.
He has gained some weight and looks much healthier, this boy LOVES to eat! No matter his past, he greets everyone with instant love. He gives kisses and just melts into you for affection. He even knows some commands.
Frederick loves to explore and we think a yard would be his dream! He does not love being in a crate, so a strong crate will be needed for any type of crate training. He broke out of his enclosure in boarding, so he could go hang out with a friend. He's a social guy.
We think an adult only home is best since he's still learning what it means to live in a home and although he is super loving, little ones may stress him out.
If you would like to provide Frederick with a loving home and show him what being part of a family is like, he would be so grateful. -
Winnie
Sweet little Winnie was trying to fend for herself in a Houston park, she was following people around, begging for food, and sadly some people were not treating her well. She was being kicked and threatened regularly.
Luckily, we were able to get to the park and scoop this beautiful girl up (and her handsome friend Boomer who is also available for adoption).
We think Winnie may be about 8 months to 1 year old. She has received all of her vaccines, a microchip and is getting spayed. She weighs about 42lbs.
She is incredibly sweet and loving, trusting everyone. She's happy to give you a kiss and a cuddle. She even seems to be somewhat housetrained, keeping her crate nice and clean.
She now has a full belly, she LOVES treats, a soft spot to sleep, and AC to keep her comfortable in this Texas heat! Next up, she really wants a family to call her own.es here -
Tinsel
Tinsel is the sweetest and cutest little Chihuahua mix. She is about 8 weeks old. She loves to sleep, play and romp around with her pups.
